8 years!

For our 8 year anniversary we didn't do anything crazy: went to Olive Garden, then had a little trip to Downtown Disney, got into Whip It! contest (get your mind out of the gutter!) - which is a couple contest with a stick tied at the waist of both persons and with a tennis ball tied in the middle of a stick on a long rope. The goal of the contest is to wrap and unwrap the ball around the stick without the use of hands. That was funny. Then while waiting for our intended place of visit, we listened to some unusual musical instrument. And indulged ourselves with a poisoned apple (joking), well, what esle you might think you get in this store?

This was our special anniversary treat
Yes, this is what we did - we flew the Big Balloon! It was really cool to see everything from up high. You can see whole Downtown Disney, Epcot, and much more. Well, we got the night-time view of it. Eric even spotted the temple! I couldn't tell from the distance. The kids loved being up there, and you know Misha liked it by his reaction: This was totally wicked!

McDonald's McTeachers night

Local McDonald's sponsors an event where portion of their sales goes back to school. They invite kids and their parents to join this event and to have fun. They have McDonald's toys raffle, coupons giveaway, fun and food for all. Despite it being a crazy house, kids have fun. McTeachers night is a frequent event, but this was our first time, so why not take a picture inside McDonalds restaurant for a change? And this was a first time in our life spending two hours straight in McDonalds.

First grade!

Valentina is in the first grade! In Belarus school starts September first, so I posted these pictures a week late on purpose. It is funny, after going to school for third year she's only in first grade. Well, now there's more homework to do, papers to sign and schedule to follow. Her teacher is Mrs. Marisol Metro. And there are a few kids from kindergarten class that she knew. Misha is going to stay home for another year because of his birth date.
